COVID-19: Ondo Govt earmarks 25bn for intervention in revised 2020 budget

Over 25 billion naira has been earmarked for COVID-19 response affirmative action across all sectors in the 2020 revised budget of the Ondo state.

The Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr Emmanuel Igbasan at a briefing in Akure, said the money will help fund the COVID-19 action response and economic stimulus as well as key projects across all sectors.

OSRC's Shola Ilesanmi reports that the new appropriation is an offshoot of the 2020-2022 Medium Term Expenditure Framework.
